Do we offer payment plans?

The answer is yes! We offer payment plans for our patients in advance of their breast augmentation, breast reduction, tummy tuck and other plastic surgery that Dr Moncrieff provides. Our Practice Manager Jessica explains more below.

How do our payment plans before surgery work?

Patients can book surgery 6 months in advance, scheduling regular payments up until 1 month before the surgery when the final balance is required. When making your payments via direct deposit, we ask that you always include your surname for tracking.

For example, a $13,990 breast augmentation (round implants) paid over 20 weeks (5 months) would be a deposit of $2000 and then weekly installments of:

20 payments of approximately $599

Are your payment plans interest free?

Yes of course. We understand the financial pressure surgery can take out on your savings. That’s why we are happy to offer our patients the option for payment plans in advance of surgery as interest-free. This means you don’t have to worry about paying for your procedure after you have had it.

Other financing options

We accept Visa, Mastercard, TLC (Total Lifestyle Credit) or MediPay  loans, and direct deposit.

We are not affiliated or endorse any particular financing company.

Other patients in the past have approached their existing banks for redraws, personal loans or used a low-interest credit card to help assist funding their procedure.

Can I access my superannuation?

Some of our patients have accessed their superannuation to pay for their surgical procedures. Keep in mind while superannuation can be released on compassionate grounds it is also challenging. To meet a certain criteria for early release patients need to be experiencing cases of chronic or acute pain and generally is only granted for breast reductions or abdominoplasty where patients are able to demonstrate ongoing medical issues. The significant downsides include having to pay tax on the amount withdrawn and a reduction in your retirement savings. To find out more or to see if you are eligible for early release visit our dedicated article on using your Superannuation for surgery.

Please note that we cannot complete this form for you – you need to start the process and have a GP provide a report. A $100 administration fee then applies for us to complete our section of the paperwork.
