Our Cosmetic Therapist will provide a comprehensive skin assessment and treatment plan at your first visit. During this consultation our Therapist will:

· Review your medical history and discuss your concerns
· Provide a fruit enzyme medifacial treatment
· Perform a Woods lamp assessment
· Prepare your action plan
· Offer you a medical grade sunscreen

What does it target?

Wrinkles and redness, management of large pores and skin texture.

How does it work?

We use our laser to gently heat the skin below the surface. This “healthy heat” stimulates the body’s own natural healing response and the texture of your skin literally becomes smoother. Depending on what you are having treated, pores get smaller, lines are decreased as your underlying collagen is refreshed and the colour of your skin will even out. We will discuss this thoroughly when you come in for your consultation.

How many treatments will I need?

People and conditions will vary in the way they respond, based on their skin biology. Typically we recommend a series of four to six treatments to optimise results.

What does it feel like?

The Glow Laser Facial is very comfortable; it’s sometimes called the warm laser facial. You will feel a warming sensation on your skin as the handpiece is slowly moved back and forth about half-inch above your skin.

What can I expect afterwards?

You can return to normal activities immediately. You may be flushed from the heat but that will disappear within a few hours of treatment. Individual treatment results are often subtle but the overall effect builds over time.

Can anyone have it done?

Yes. Adults of all ages and all skin types can benefit from a Glow Laser Facial and can have it done year round. We can even treat tanned skin.

What does it target?

Skin redness, tiny veins, brown spots and sun damage

How does it work?

The Clear Laser Facial uses light to heat the pigment and blood in the top layer of your skin to reduce discolouration and promote a more even skin tone.

How many treatments will I need?

It depends on what you are having treated. Typically three to five treatments can provide significant clearance. When you come in for your consultation, we will give you information tailored to your particular needs and desires.

What does it feel like?

You will feel a series of brief pinches, similar to a rubber band snapping, but no local anaesthesia or pain medication is necessary.

What can I expect afterwards?

If you have specific spots treated they will darken immediately and begin to flake off naturally within one to three weeks to reveal clearer skin. If you have general redness or fine veins treated, the blush will gradually lighten over three to five treatments.

Is it permanent?

Over time new spots may appear, as a result of new sun exposure and the ongoing ageing process. These too can be removed.

Can anyone have it done?

Anyone with a light to medium colour skin may be a candidate for the Clear Laser Facial, but those with darker skin tones may not. We will assess your particular skin type and let you know if you’re a candidate at the time of your consultation.

Side Effects & Risks

Those with sensitive skin may find they will react with inflammation after a Clear Laser Facial. However this is easily treated with anti-histamines taken prior and post treatment.

Our Glow Laser outlined above can be used for surgical wounds once healed until around 9 months.
