Dr Nick Moncrieff and his team at Hunter Plastic Surgery are global award winners for the second time this month!
“We are so delighted to receive this recognition from the Global MyFaceMyBody Awards today. We are very happy to accept six awards for all elements of our practice, from our front desk, our management, our service, and of course, the surgical outcomes I am able to deliver,” Dr Moncrieff stated.
Hunter Plastic Surgery won a total of 6 awards for:
- Australasian Surgical Makeover of the Year – the body transformation Dr Moncrieff performed on our amazing patient Carley Fidock after her 60+kg weight loss.
- Australasian Customer Experience of the Year
- Australasian Practice Team of the Year
- Australasian Practice Manager of the Year – for our amazing Jessica Laing!
- We were also honoured as Global winners in the Customer Experience and Practice Team categories when our submissions from the regional awards were then compared with those from the US, UK and across the globe!
“Thank you so much to all hundreds of women who choose us every year for breast and body surgery and allow us to make a real difference to their health, happiness and confidence,” Dr Moncrieff commented.
"And of course, thank you to my amazing team headed by my wife Amber Moncrieff and Practice Manager Jessica Laing, along with Melissa, Alicia, Alecia, Alesha, Lynne, Kylie and Lily. They are truly a team of passionate, professional and caring women who are dedicated to providing our patients with the 5 star care and support they deserve!"
“Well done to MyFaceMyBody founder Stephen Handisides who not only launched the world's first Global Virtual Aesthetic Summit (GVAS) this month, but now has another first running these awards in a truly modern way providing an online option to enjoy the awards without having to travel to Las Vegas where they were announced."
"To win so many awards knowing there were over 1500 entries from across the world is so humbling.” Dr Moncrieff stated.
Our unique focus on breast and body surgery
“These awards are more confirmation that our decision in late 2016 to focus exclusively on breast and body surgery for women as been the right one. We know we are very busy, but it is great to have the MyFaceMyBody judges look under the hood of some many clinics across the world and decide we have something so special,” said Dr Moncrieff.
Co-founder Amber Moncrieff explained, “we have now grown to be one of the most popular plastic surgery practices in Australia for women, with 45% of our patients travelling for more than 50kms for surgery with us, and half of them from more than 100kms away.”
“I think women are increasingly looking for surgeons who focus on a particular area of aesthetic surgery – and they are prepared to travel from right across Australia for the right person. In our case, that’s Dr Moncrieff!” Amber stated.

Passionate about reality in plastic surgery marketing
“One thing we are very public about it the importance of honesty and reality in the images of women in the marketing of plastic surgery and we featured that in our submission for the judges,” Amber went on to say.
“For example, we refuse to use stock images of models in our marketing – unlike so many clinics in this industry, because we believe they are misleading and a negative force on body image.”
By way of example, the new Hunter Plastic Surgery website is an industry first as it only features their real patients across the website.
“No misleading pictures of skinny teenage models here,” Amber concluded.
About the MyFaceMyBody Global Awards
For the past eight years the MyFaceMyBody Awards have run throughout the UK and USA. They came to Australia in 2015 when Hunter Plastic Surgery was recognised as the Practice Team of the Year at their awards night in Sydney.
But after a short break in Australia, the MyFaceMyBody Global Aesthetic Awards have launched via a digital platform to allow more practices from across the globe to enter. And while the winners were announced live in Las Vegas, we were able to “attend” the event via live streaming with thousands of others while still hard at work in our clinic as it is the busiest time of the year!
