The Hunter Plastic Surgery team took out a Gold Award at the Stevies Awards for Women in Business held in New York on 10 November. This brings their tally to an impressive 25 awards at local, national and global recognition events over the last 9 years.
Hunter Plastic Surgery Director, Amber Moncrieff was in the US to bring home the Gold Award and deliver the acceptance speech on behalf of herself, Jessica Laing and Alicia Green who together won the Gold Award for the Management Team of the Year – 10 or Less Employees category.
What this means to us
Amber Moncrieff said Hunter Plastic Surgery is focused on making a tangible difference to the lives of women. “We believe that if a woman wants to make an aesthetic change, or reduce pain through surgery like a breast reduction or abdominal muscle repair, then she should be empowered to make an informed choice. Our purpose is to help women achieve their goals through access to specialist surgery with a focus on safety and the support they deserve throughout the journey.”
“It has been a challenging year to deliver on our goals given significant changes to the regulation of aesthetic surgery so being recognised on an international stage with the Stevie Women in Business Awards is particularly special in 2023!”
Our Focus on Women, Led by Women!
As one of only a small number of Australian plastic surgery clinics exclusively dedicated to female breast and body surgery patients, the women who run the clinic have been instrumental in its impressive growth since 2009.
The Hunter Plastic Surgery team of 8 women, plus Dr Moncrieff of course, is led by Amber, Jessica and Alicia. Their vast and diverse skillset has seen the clinic lead the way in patient care and demand for our services.
“We believe our 5 star difference is underpinned by the skills and experience of our team of caring and talented women. Dr Moncrieff is an experienced Specialist Plastic Surgeon, but 5-star care along the entire patient journey from first phone call to final post-operative visit is a team effort,” Amber stated.
“We are proud that women seek us out from right across Australia and over 50% of our patients travel more than 100km to have surgery with us.”
